How It Works

01

Claim a pack

Sign in, review the break's rip rule, and choose an available payment method.

02

Follow the rip rule

Auto-rip breaks open live, choice breaks let you switch before the live window, and sealed-only breaks stay unopened.

03

Choose the outcome

Opened bundles have 72 hours of bundle offers and a 3-hour grace period for shipping, a Second Chance Ticket, or storing eligible hits before automatic resolution. A hit stored as an individual Card Break asset can be shipped from custodial inventory later at any time upon request and payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What payment token is accepted?

Breaks accept USDC on Cronos plus selected USDC rails with Stripe implementation pending.

Can I use email only?

Email sign-in can view custodial vault assets. Pack purchases stay wallet-session-only until non-crypto payment rails are added.

How do sellback and shipping work?

Revealed opened-pack bundles can request USDC sellback for 72 hours after reveal at the reveal-locked value. Bundle actions remain available until the purchased automatic-resolution deadline, which defaults to 75 hours. When the owner stores an eligible hit as an individual Card Break asset, it remains in custodial inventory and can be shipped at any later time upon request and payment because it is no longer subject to the parent bundle deadline.

What is a hit card?

A hit is any card valued at $1 or more at the time the pack is revealed. Hit status is locked from the reveal snapshot, so later value corrections do not change which cards can be stored as individual platform assets.

What does Store as Asset do?

If a revealed bundle has one or more hit cards, Store as Asset places each eligible hit in your vault as an individual custodial platform asset. The non-hit cards from that pack are forfeited to the platform. Stored card assets can be sold back, shipped, traded for a rolling ticket, or request tokenization later when that flow is enabled, without the 72-hour bundle sellback limit.

What is a Second Chance Rolling Ticket?

Before automatic resolution, an eligible revealed full bundle can be traded in for one ticket through the manual Traffic Light experience. If the bundle has hits, those hits are forfeited with the bundle. After hit cards are stored as individual platform assets, each eligible stored card can be traded in separately; the non-hit cards from the original pack have already been forfeited to the platform.

What happens if I do nothing after reveal?

At the purchased automatic-resolution deadline, an untouched non-hit bundle becomes one directly issued Second Chance Ticket without the Traffic Light mini-game. An untouched hit bundle instead stores its hits as individual assets and forfeits its non-hit cards. The default deadline is 75 hours after reveal.

Can I keep my pack sealed?

It depends on the break's rip rule. Auto-rip breaks open live, choice breaks let you switch before the live/reveal window, and sealed-only breaks stay unopened.

What changes after an asset is tokenized?

A tokenized asset can stay in your wallet for viewing and ownership. Before Card Break can sell it back, ship it, store its cards as platform assets, or finalize another vault outcome, the token must be transferred to platform custody. Rolling-ticket trade-ins already support that handoff; other token custody handoffs remain unavailable until their transfer flow is implemented.

Where does Traffic fit?

Traffic is the daily community hub for market talk, Cronos updates, and live pack reveal context hosted from ElderKarl's account.

Account Help

Wallets & accounts

One account can have one EVM address and one Solana address, each linked separately, plus an optional email. Either linked address opens the same Vault, XP, and account history.

What do linking and disconnecting mean?

Connecting chooses a wallet for this browser. Signing in proves control of its address. Linking makes that address another way to sign in to your existing Card Break account. Even in the same wallet app, EVM and Solana are separate addresses and must be linked separately.

The wallet popup shows which addresses are linked to your account and which are currently connected. “Not connected” does not mean the wallet has been unlinked. Choosing a wallet app does not link all of its addresses or send a payment.

To add the other wallet type, first sign into the account you want to keep, choose Connect Wallet, select the wallet, and confirm the explicit linking request. Linking grants account access; it does not move funds or combine separate accounts. An occupied wallet slot requires the separate replacement or recovery process.

How do I disconnect a wallet or sign out of Card Break?

Use the wallet menu to disconnect EVM, Solana, or both. Vault also has a separate Disconnect wallet(s) button. This clears the selected wallet sessions throughout this site and other tabs on the same browser origin. Email or another connected wallet can keep you signed in.

For complete account sign-out, open Vault → Account Access and choose Sign out of Card Break. This clears all wallet and email account sessions on this browser. Disconnecting your last active sign-in also leaves you signed out.

Neither action unlinks wallets, deletes your account, changes access on another device, or cancels a submitted payment. Your extension may remember its site permission, but Card Break still requires reconnection. Local and staging are separate sites with separate sessions.

Wallet linked to another account?

Signing in with an unlinked wallet creates a separate account. Connecting it while signed into another account does not merge them. If you control an unused, unwanted account, closing it can release its wallet address for a fresh link:

  1. Sign out of Card Break from Vault, then sign in with the wallet belonging to the unwanted account.
  2. Open Vault → Profile → Close account. Check that this is the account you want to permanently close.
  3. After closure completes, sign into the account you want to keep using its email or existing wallet. Choose Connect Wallet and explicitly link the released wallet.

Do not sign in with the released wallet on its own first: that can create another separate account. Closure is not a merge and does not transfer assets, XP, or history.

What does account closure remove, and why might it be blocked?

Vault → Profile → Close account permanently removes the account’s login credentials, profile, and XP. Only the minimum non-login evidence needed for financial, custody, and security records is retained. Wallet-only accounts can request closure without adding email.

Assets, Card Break Credit, pending purchases, refunds, shipments, or other unfinished activity can prevent closure. Review the listed reasons and resolve them before trying again. Do not close an account whose rewards or history you want to keep. Closure is irreversible and never transfers anything to another account.

Lost-wallet recovery is for lost or compromised access, not combining accounts you can still open. Existing account links are not automatically replaced or merged.
